Rule of thumb to alleviate the feeling of being a lazy bastard: make sure you have something to do to warrant staying up so late. Anything computer-related besides a lanparty is not a good reason.

I think I've only woken up before noon like... once this summer, so far.

Usually I wake up at like 2 pm.

My mom REALLY, REALLY hates my sleeping anytime past midnight.  Even though I do this all the time anyway.

So it's hard for me to do this, even though in the absence of other influences I would do this and totally have done it.

In fact there was a time in college when I went to bed at like 6 AM and woke up at like 4 PM.  It...was not the prettiest time in my life.
