    moe~
  • The title of the series comes from the Japanese word for light musickeiongaku (軽音楽?), but in the Japanese context is similar to pop music.

No I mean why is it named K-On!? Is there anything in the story about it?

If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
I realize this is a IJBM of regular quality,  but hey

    fix'd~

    (that was a joke)
  • You can change. You can.

Also, it's explained in the first or second episode.  Didn't you watch at least a couple episodes of it?

"Kei" or "K" comes from the first letter of the romanization of "karui" meaning "light," and "on" comes from "ongaku" meaning "music."

I only watched episode 5. At least I got to see their teacher rockin' (Though I heard she gets an even awesomer scene in season II)
