The "back to discussions" link at the bottom of the page is part of the reply box

So it disappears whenever a thread is closed, forcing you to scroll back up to go back to the main Discussions page.

(Really really minor complaint, I know, but whatever.)

    Sorry...
  • I nrever noticed that this actually seems like a serious issue.

What are you apologizing for? Did you design the Vanilla software?

No... It's not really a very serious issue at all.

    Yes, CA. Yes I did.
  • Huh. Never noticed that.

    Weird.
  • ^^ In that case, we need to talk about some things. I notice a mod/admin can't reply to a locked thread without unlocking it. You know how inconvenient that is? You should be ashamed!

    :P

(Wait, am I derailing my own thread?)
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Wait. Can you explain what you mean?

I click it, and it takes me back to the main page of the forum. What's the issue here?
  • Yes. Yes you are. LOCK!
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
I know! Working out the bugs here.

Actually, I couldn't even edit my own post in there.

Derails don't get a lock, sorry.
  • IJBM: When I see the word "derail" it makes me think of lesbian pizza parties.
  • Sorry too used to how things operated on OTC.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
Learn to get over that, then.
  • OTC? NOOOOOOO!

    IT BUUUUUUURNS
  • I'm talking about the very bottom of the page. Under the reply box, there's "Back to Discussions".

I usually use that to go back to the main page so I don't have to scroll back up to the top, but when the thread is closed, that link isn't there anymore.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Ooooh. Is that all?
  • Yep.

Like I said, very very minor complaint.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
There's a 'top of page' button on my keyboard.
  • You can change. You can.
I call it home, personally. Goes ding when there's stuff
  • ...why did it never occur to me to press that
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
This is no time for your timey-wimey detector.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Because you're silly, CA.
  • Can't argue with that logic, I suppose.
  • You're our adorable little silly-willy-billy-nilly-frilly-lilly! :3

    -hugs-

Hey, you know what I noticed? While a locked thread takes away the "Back to Discussion" link, it adds an even bigger "All Discussions" button where the post button would have been.

Failed a spot check much, self?

    So it does >_>
