Related to what Bob said, it bugs me when people respond to statements such as the OP (be it about bisexuality, asexuality or asperger's syndrome) and defensively interpret as if it's saying that these things don't exist, or miss the point and say something along the lines of "that's not how sexuality/asperger's works".
