. . . but it's literally a month away, and I still have school to worry about. I need to stop getting myself so hyped up over it, it's not even a high-quality con. A good deal of my hype comes from having a badass, well-constructed cosplay, so I guess it can't be helped, but I know I'm setting myself up to be excited over yet another occasion of standing idly in the background.

I got the idea from Miijhal after asking which characters I look like. I think I kinda look like him on a good day. And some people have seen a picture of me wearing the necessary wig.

^ Because I have this irrational fear that I'm intruding on other people/conversations when I try to socialize because I'm kind of awkward in real life in the first place. It's a bit of a vicious cycle, when you think about it.

^ I could probably take some pictures of the outfit when I get back from Walmart, and you've already seen the close-up of my face with the wig and collar. I don't think I could get a picture of my entire self while wearing it, especially with how long and tedious putting it on is, until the con, which is on the 23rd of June. And I don't have the mask and sword ready yet.

But at some point, I shall post pics, rest assured.

I dunno. I was just thinking "walk around, try to look badass, see if people approach, etc.". Then again, I'll probably be hanging around with my friends for a good deal of the time, too. I probably won't look as good when walking around with yet another soul reaper, and I'll look like I don't need company. The other is going as Kenshin, though, which is pretty good.

Well, the con is almost here, but I'm starting to feel inadequate at the thought of only having one made this year and one crappy one that I can recycle from last year. And I lack the personal freedom and artistic skills/experience to just make them myself, as well as the time and money to get materials that I would need for more.

I'm also disturbed at the idea of using eye color changing contacts because I don't know if I could handle contacts.

At least the one I have rocks. Though the mask still isn't done. -_-

This necro was inspired by looking at the forums for the con and seeing that a bunch of people have made multiple cosplays. Though, come to think of it, they might be in the minority for all I know.
