While I wish you were not kicked off of the school computers like that, you really should only be using them for actual school-related stuff, right?

I think the reason for that kind of rule may be that your school does not want someone to use a computer for non-work related reasons and thus take up a computer when there are other people who do want to use it to do homework and such.

Yeah, everyone uses the school computers for dicking around before school. The actual day hasn't even started yet. I come to school around 7:40, it doesn't start till 8:40 or sometimes 9:05.

In any case, I'm amazed I was caught and no one else was. I wish I had my old netbook, they can't monitor you if you're on a private computer. Which is why they can't get mad at me for browsing this site on my Ipod, unless I'm not doing work.

Because the teachers were okay with it as long as they governed themselves and made sure no other students were breaking the rules, and they did so all was fine with the world and they could jam to songs and kill Pit Lords to their heart's content.

And because the threat of violence from other students was always there, most people didn't try to be selfish and ruin it so they could log into myspace or look at porn.

Well, that is a good point, but I think that there are some people who either do not have computers at home or only have limited access to them. Just because it is before school starts does not mean that those people do not need to use the computers for schoolwork, right? I guess some people probably procrastinate and figure that they can do everything before school starts too. I imagine that those people really need to use the school computers even if it is 7:40 in the morning.

Then again, I am not actually aware of your school's situation, so I might have been a bit unfair here.

Also, what is so bad about conservatives?
