Diagnosing fictional characters with Asperger's Syndome

It's gotten to the point where it's almost eclipsed "repressed homosexuality" as the most common Alternate Character Interpretation.

It only really annoys me when they do it to to characters like say, Bella or Edward.

Is diagnosing less common mental conditions still okay?
