If you use an @yahoo.com email or any related Yahoo services, they have blocked us also due to "user complaints"

So, I'm gonna try that force of will thing, stop wasting so much time here and limit myself to certain hours. Now, how much time would it be healthy to spend in IJBM? (No points for whoever answers "zero".)

Not sure if that's healthy, but it seems realistic.
I would suggest reply to everything on the front page that interests you, and wait 5 minutes. If there are no worthwhile replies, exit and come back 3 hours later.
^ Three hours? But... but...
"two hours in the moring and two in the afternoon"
Actually, better to do it in the evening. If you go earlier, you'll be thinking about it all day.

I do something like this. I reply to threads that interest me, and then check to see if there are any new posts in threads that interest me, and then read/reply to them, and repeat until there are no new posts in threads that interest me.
I started doing this at the Caves of Narshe. Did this once a day. It was fine for that forum because it moved slowly enough.
Then I did this at TV Tropes. I ended up spending entire days on the forum.
Now I just don't bother looking at topic lists sometimes, and simply stick to my watchlist.

Oh well...
