    @ Juan: You can complain about certain policies or decisions at TVTropes that you don't like, or certain trends that are annoying. But if the "quite a bit of problems" includes specific people, or just complaining about them, then don't mention those people. Simple as that.

    Just because this is a forum for bitching doesn't mean we can't try to maintain some level of basic decency.

    And if there's someone you really want to bitch about that badly, find a friend here who shares those feelings and send a private message or something. That way, people who don't want to see it don't have to see it, and you can still talk about people behind their backs while actually doing it behind their backs, rather than in the open.

    P.S. For the record, I enjoy talking about people behind their backs too, but I'm not going to anymore partly because I've had to reevaluate my morals as a mod, and partly because I acknowledge, and acknowledged, even then, that it's still bad taste.

    Oh well, my point still stands. TvT has some real problems, most of them in its userbase, and both the moderation and many a user (Mostly the ones benefitted by those problems) just doesn't care. So, eh.
