Turtling is a viable strategy in Starcraft
And it's fucking annoying.
These Terran players just sit I'n their base and amass a fleet of Battlecruisers, and it's really hard for me, as a Zerg player, to deal with it.
Comments
Terrans: The aforementioned Battlecruisers, along with those Siege Tanks. Those Kamikaze Zerg Air units can deal with the Battlecruisers, but the Terran enemy might have some Anti-Air units.
Protoss: Mass Carriers = Instant Win.
Zerg: I honestly have no idea. Maybe a Fortified mutalisk group?
Turtling can turn Strategy games into wars of Attrition and resource competition.
It's very satisfying.
They are the coolest race.
FOR THE SWARM.

Though a friend gave me Brood War. I can't figure out how to win the first mission.
Yeah, I tend to suck at these things. I prefer AoE mostly because I get to build stuff and manage my workers and resources and advancement activities.
If memory serves, the rest of the expansion assumes you played the classic game and throws beginner-unfriendly missions with much of the old game's technology availible and no explanations as to what things do.
