High-pitched squealy voice + Gratuitous English = Ear Pain. Twice an episode.

  • Hey, I'm watching Cardcaptor Sakura RIGHT NOW!

In any case, I don't have a problem with her voice.  I assume you mean her "RELEASE!" thing?  I dunno, it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, that. It made me realize how much I loathed Gratuitous English, and was one of the two things that made watching it subtitled less enjoyable for me (the other being the terrible sub job I saw at the time. Seriously, "Return to the form you were meant to be in?")

The R1 DVDs (not that I own the DVDs since they're expensive and there's no point since I don't even think the company that released them still exists... but that's where the subs I'm watching come from.) have it as "Return to the guise that you were meant to be in!"  Which... is just as bad if not worse, but other than that I don't think the subs are bad.  Overall I like them.

EDIT:  Wait nevermind, the subs have other stupid parts too.  Like saying "a meter (39 inches)" instead of just saying "a meter" and trusting that their audience will know what a meter is...
