    I don't have to go right now. I might, but that's not a certainty and won't happen if I pass my classes.

    It's not the school district's fault that it costs money to operate a school and pay its faculty and other staff.  Blame the fact that people want to get paid for their work and for their use of scarce resources, I guess, only don't blame that fact because that would be stupid.
