    Yeah!
  • An absolutely wonderful Futurama AMV had the music removed by WMG. It pisses me off.
  • For me it was a Gurren Lagann/Dragonforce AMV that I can no longer find, so I'm only suspecting it was taken down.
  • I know how this is my absiolute favorite scene from one of my favorite adaptations of Dracula got removed
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I wonder what that could be.
  • Count Dracula (1977) Confrontation with Dracula at Carfax. magnificent Hannibal Lecture followed by a Shut Up Hannibal from Jonathon Harker. It's where I got my Sig from the original TV Tropes fora from. I've been working on a Dracula Costume (based on the book) to perform that scene with a little help from two other actors if I can find the right people.
  • I like turtles.
    All of TimmyTurnersDad's music.

At least he has a backup channel.

This is what Megavideo is for. They are somehow magically immune to copyright claims. It's like MAGIC!

No, they're not; it's just that they're obscure and the data is harder to find due to lack of search I think.
  • Megavideo is absolutely horrible though.  I'm pretty sure if Megavideo was the only place to watch a video, I just wouldn't watch it.

    ^ You suck.

Alternatively, you rock since there's less audience for the site.
  • ugh I know you know i've considred reuploading that scene but I don't know how.
  • But really, limits on how much you can watch per period of time + godawful video quality + screwing up the resolution of the video + somehow still loads slower than higher-quality videos on Youtube = bad.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
Oh, I usually watch re-run episodes of old highly-episodic series there.  So it's very much one-at-a-time for me.

You can actually use a few tricks to completely dodge the limit, you know.

I would like to add the keep on hand a list of obscure video sites to get anime from. I even got Seto No Hanayome from a dutch video sharing site once.

^^ If it's anime, then there's basically no reason to watch it on a streaming site anyway.  It's pretty easy to find torrents for most shows, unless they're like, obscure and also licensed by Funimation or something.  And if they are licensed by Funimation, a lot of the time you could stream it from their website, which is far better than Megavideo anyway.

I'm afraid to torrent things anymore.

I got a warning thing from my service provider for torrenting a movie.

^^ I don't like that link on this forum.  No, seriously, for its own good even.

^^^ You make the mistake of downloading high-demand stuff.

Yeah, I wasn't being careful. Came back to bite me in the ass.

So, would they be watching me now? Would I get caught if I downloaded, say, an Anime?

For Jinki: Extend, you might be able to get it from Exiled-Destiny's IRC bots, but I dunno.  Of course, that's not a torrent, so it still doesn't change the fact that finding a torrent for it is hard.

Mega streaming is legal, you know.
  • Er... no.

That said, I'm not sure you can actually get in trouble for it.

Well, using it to watch licensed stuff is illegal, but you know what I mean (or don't, apparently). Mega Video is a legitimate company that isn't specifically for piracy, and mega streaming is something owned by Mega Video themselves. Now if I linked to an actual licensed video on Mega Video, or gave you a handy list, THEN I would be breaking the law.
  • Oh, well, yeah.  I know that much.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
Megastreaming is actually owned by Megavideo?

    Okay, carry on , then.
