What just happened...?

edited 2011-05-07 00:14:24 in General
Someone just called my phone. The ID was "Restricted". It was a guy who asked for me and I said it was me and he said that he has heard a lot of things about me and said his name. Said a friend of mine gave him my number and said I was interested in looking for a boyfriend. He said he wanted to meet RIGHT now. I said I...couldn't because it's 1 AM. And he didn't seem to understand the ..concept of "I can't just leave the house" and...yeah I don't know...He gave me his name.

It was creepy and weird.

I'm just...the whole thing...

He said to meet tomorrow around 2 and I said I would but...I'm not gonna.

Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
In other words, what you're saying is...

    THEN WHO WAS PHONE???

And the answer is creepy people.

    Hmmmm,

If these calls become a problem, see what you can do about getting a court order to force the phone company to release the number, and take action.

But hopefully, blowing off the meeting will give the guy a hint.

Yeah, seriously though, that's... kind of messed up.

I think the weirdest part is the guy calling at 1AM wanting to meet up.

I know I've had friends give my number out a couple of times, but all parties involved were reasonable about it.

Definitely proceed with caution.  Ignore the calls, or if you have to answer, try to find out which friend gave out the number.  Common sense should dictate where to go from there.

And like I said earlier, court orders if it becomes a problem.
  • Right....thanks.
  • 1) Find out which friend gave this guy your number

    2) Pay them a "visit"

    3) Kick their ass

    4) ???

    5) Kick their ass some more until they realize that this kind of shit needs to be discussed first, I mean, jesus fucktoast, seriously.
