Trope Decay of "Hollywood Pudgy"

It used to mean "normal weights are treated as fat weights in movies". Now it means "the very idea of overweightness is a product of the Hollywood system", with the trope being brought up even if the person in question is positively chubby. It seems to have less to do with the actual size of the person in question, and more to do with an irrational, almost reflex-like reaction to the whole skinnyness/body image thing.

I barely even read the articles since I started posting on the forums.

With the exception of a few witty remarks and information about shows I (would) like, they aren't all that interesting to read.

I ignore the examples section these days, I can usually guess what the examples are going to be. It's made Wiki Walks significantly shorter. Which is good.

I try to avoid trope pages at all costs, as well as the IJBM pages for works I haven't watched/read yet but plan to watch/read later. Mostly because of bad experiences I don't want to repeat.
