He purchased Superman 64? As in, spent money to acquire it?

  • Likes cheesecake unironically.
Wait, why does this picture work? I thought hotlinking from TV Tropes is not possible anymore.
  • ...lol noob!

    Pony Sleuth
    ^^I can't see it.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
^^^If it's in your cache, it shows up.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
why did he do such a thing
  • I don't see this as all that strange. As shitty as it is, it's become pretty iconic. It's not like you guys would flip out at someone buying a copy of Plan 9 from Outer Space, would you?
  • I recently bought Daikatana.
  • I had significantly more fun playing Superman 64 than I did playing Mass Effect, so... that's something, I guess.
  • I feel sorry for Titus. They'll always be known as the guys who created Superman 64, except when they're the guys who ported PoP2 to the SNES.

    ...have I typed that before?
  • No rainbow star
I saw gameplay of Superman 64. I wanted to put the LPer out of their misery when I saw how horrid the gameplay was
  • My Brother had it. I played it.

It sucked. One of the first games where I was going "The fuck is this?!" at the screen.

    I see the image.

Also, when I was younger, I actually rented Superman 64 from Blockbuster. The whole game... it seemed so... bleak.

The only thing that made it tolerable was that I almost immediately used the cheat codes so that it would be at least vaguely bearable.

  • This would be more bearable if he had just claimed this with text, but no, he had to post a picture and make it undeniably true.
  • My friend bought it.  Though that was a while back when the game was new and when he didn't know it was terrible and didn't have any good taste.  He usually won't let me play it when I go over...
  • What a piece of shit. I feel bad for people who actually bought this way back when.

    I only rented it.

Worst game I ever rented was Disney's Dinosaur- it was my first experience with a bad game, it felt weird, like a really boring nightmare.

Up until then I'd completed every game we rented over the weekend as a sort of challenge, even when said game was difficult enough to make me throw the controller, but I not only encountered a LostForever in this game, but I didn't even want to finish it. I felt defeated, but at the same time, relieved.
