It's not a perfect system, but it's easier to hold the members accountable when the group is small. It's not healthy for 10% of us to ingest over half of the party's alcohol.

I have just been informed that they did have little Union Flags in the sandwiches.

I'm not sure what that suggests.  Patriotic republicanism?

It suggests holding the damn sandwich together.  As...if it were a Union.  Of sandwich.  Or something.

I'm not sure about Libertarian Parties; people just tend to hole up in their own little areas and not help each other clean others' puke off the floor, and after a while you end up with lots of puke and shit and people hoarding Febreeze and air fresheners.
  • well it's none ofo ur business now is it? we shouldn't be forced to get in other peoples business should we?
  • As a petty and vindictive person, I have to take extra steps not to appear petty and vindictive.
Not to mention the soundtrack. The Rush discography on repeat gets old fast.

When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
But that's what libertarianism is; getting into other peoples' businesses.

/has no idea if this is true or not

^ That had a catchy tune and that was about the only good thing about that video.
  • No GL that would be statism and Populism.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
No, that's the point of statism, basically making rules so that the party runs smoothly.  Unfortunately, this means that you can't barge into the opposite sex's bathrooms, can't throw up on the floor, and can't dance drunk on the roof.

Populism is when a bunch of poor kids take over some rich guy's house when he's not home, and then proceed to party there.
  • meh Populism is essentailly left-statism and authoritarianism and theocracy right-statism.

I thought populism is pitchforkism, not statism.

I got pretty drunk at a New Democrat Party a week ago.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
^ How did the beliefs of those at the party affect the consumption and sharing of alcohol?
  • a little muffled
They didn't. If I were feeling cleverer, I'd turn this into a joke about nobody being sure what the NDP actually support.
  • hell I don't know who the New Democratic Party is I only know Conservatives, Labor, greens, Liberal Democrats, and British National Party.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
^ You need to look up the Monster Raving Loony Party!
  • Because you never know what you might see.
Would a monster raving loony party involve an actual rave?
  • a little muffled
@Tnu1138: They're Canadian, not British. They are...quasi-socialist, I guess. Historically they've been the perennial third choice after the Liberals and Conservatives, but current polls show them in second place, beating the Liberals by a reasonable margin.
  • looking in to it the NDP are pretty good cho ice at elast given no better options they arn't social Authoritarians like the conservatives and there arn't that many radical far economic- left parties to speek of.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
Dunno run them in the next election, I'm pretty sure they'd agree to that being on their manifesto.
  • Because you never know what you might see.
I don't think I'd attend a guns and dope party.  Sure, it might sound like a novelty idea, and maybe if you're a firearms enthusiast you might be tempted, but that has to be a dangerous combination, especially if alcohol is also involved.

Though the ostriches are sure to keep things lively.
