@Chagen: I still haven't come up with a satisfactory way to have multiple accounts on my computer but nevertheless implement a better system than Windows's native C:\users\username\folder setup.

I know I do things like keep my pictures in C:\pictures. So basically, maybe I could do a sort of "C:\pictures\bob's pictures" setup. But then that would reduce the convenience for the main user.

So instead I just opt to have everyone use the same account. And I lend my computer only to people whom I trust or people whose activity I can supervise.

@nohaynicklibre: Windows 7 has a native wallpaper switcher. Windows XP has various freeware wallpaper changer programs as well.

I just change my wallpaper by right-clicking whatever image I feel like and "set as desktop background". I'm pretty sure things before XP had something similar since I pranked my family's Windows 98 wallpaper with Pikachu yukkuris.
