Because you never know what you might see.
Right, because that's totally the same issue.

I think you ignored the second half of the sentence.
  • I thought it was common sense to not spray paint on someones house since they can shoot you.  Or have you arrested I guess.  Then again, I may have been somewhat drunk.
  • One assumes you're not the shopkeeper or building owner having to remove ugly images that would look just as "good" on paper as brick, then.

    1. They're not ugly

    2. I'd be honored to have Banksy's art on my shop's wall

    3. The business would probably be better as a result anyway
  • @BlackHumor Perhaps everyone should be allowed to do whatever they want to something they find boring looking.

I'm going to go carve my initials in my neighbor's car. It's a dull color anyway!
  • If Banksy vandalized my car, I bet I'd be able to sell it for well over what it would be worth before.
  • Bricks are not your neighbor's personal property. I could be wrong, but I don't think he vandalizes private houses.

Pretty sure the bricks of my neighbors home are is personal property too.

No, he limits himself generally publically owned places or charity owned places (Like the London Zoo, which belongs to the Zooligical Society of London, a charity).

Of course there's that time he stole paris hilton cds from a disk store and replaced them with his own.

For the most part, I like some of his stuff, but some of it... Would it kill you to ask the zoo before you break into the penguin habitat and paint the place?
  • ...Which is why I said I don't think he vandalizes private houses.
  • Because you never know what you might see.
Y'know, since reading that Charlie Brooker article, I've been feeling increasingly disillusioned regarding the cleverness of Banksy.  For some reason, this makes me annoyed with Brooker for being a buzzkill, but Banksy was always a buzzkill himself so I can't say he didn't have it coming to him.

I still think he's pretty funny though.

Oh, and Think Tank was awesome, haters gonna hate.
