The Hockey Game that was on last night

I'm a Flames fan, but when it's a Canadian team versus an American team, I'll support the Canadian one I missed parts of the game, but my parents clued me in (and I still caught some of the bullshit) Apparently, the Black Hawks had done things like elbow people in the face, smash their stick over someones head, and flip the puck into the stands with no penalty. Yet the Canucks get a penalty for just tapping the Black Hawks! And a goal clearly made it in the net - I saw it myself, clear as day, and it even had replay. Wasn't allowed. Even the announcers seemed stunned when the Hawks FINALLY got a penalty in over time They even called for the rink to bw cleaned off quickly. I don't know every rule (even though hockey is my favourite sport, I'm still not too much into sports), but according to my dad that is never supposed to be allowed. The Hawks got away with it, giving them a break during a time when they couldn't call a time out Of course the Hawks won - When you disallow a clear cut goal, then you KNOW that the refs will allow anything if it means a certain team wins Just... Holy crap, what kind of bullshit...

  • I've always wondered why you never hear anyone complain about shitty referee calls when it's in favor of the team they're rooting for.
