If you use an @yahoo.com email or any related Yahoo services, they have blocked us also due to "user complaints"

Thanks Google. I'd never have noticed myself.

But seriously, is there any particular reason it'd send me an (automated) email like that? It's.. puzzling.

    Mostly to make sure it was actually you who did it and that you didn't just get hacked or something.  Those notices seem superfluous now, but might come in awfully handy if you get stuff like

    Your gmail status was changed to "LOL I EAT BABIES".

    Your gmail password has been changed.

    Your gmail account has been signed up to receive hourly updates from horseporn.com.

    Compact Edition.  Used for tiny computers with very constrained hardware.  Like 7" laptops.

    Then again, I've never used ME.

    Windows ME is basically 98 with the 2000 theme. Only more bloated.

    Also, it refuses to let you boot into DOS without a crack.

    To quote PC World: "users reported problems installing it, getting it to run, getting it to work with other hardware or software, and getting it to stop running." Another fun fact: System Restore would happily restore malware.
