a.k.a. rape.

Of course, in real life it would be the same, but when it comes to reading preference, it indicates slightly different things. Namely, in noncon the victim often turnd out to be enjoying it, not unlike in a "bodice ripper" sort of trashy romance, while in a fic with "rape" tag consequences for the fictim are much more dire, and handled ina more serious manner.
Again, zero difference in real life - It'sNotRapeIfYouEnjoyedIt is a discredited trope for a reason - but there is nothing strange with liking to read only one of these types but not the other.
Now, dubcon is something this one absolutely fails to understand.
"Hey if I rape this girl long enough she will stop screaming, which mean she totally likes it and wants more!"
"Bodily functions she's making totally indicates this girl is enjoying this, even though she says she doesn't want to!"
"Heheheh, I am making her armpits reek of dickcheese..."
"Hey I'll never see her again so this is totally okay!"
"It's not the girl who matters, it's the holes that do!"
"Hey, it's either this or I kill you, I am being reasonable, honey!"
"You say you don't like it but the noises you are making sound like moans, which means you do!"
"A real rape victim would not just sit there and take it, they would try to escape."
So yeah, it's rape.
