Bugs.

I just adblock'd the IJBM picture on this site because I have become TRAUMATIZED (this is serious business, yo) by tiny flying bugs that somehow enter the house I live in every single day which make no sound.

Apparently one of them (well, two as far as i've seen so far, but one species) is a bug that grows around wheat. I'm living in like the middle of the damn city. WHY THE HELL IS IT HERE?

At least the one that most often breaks in dies after a day.

    Oh hai

  • Also I don't get the "bugs would be cute if they were large" thing.

I don't count shrimp as bugs in this case, by the way.
  • They have lots of legs and no fur, therefore they are bugs.

The preceding statement was an insult to neoclassical economics.

To each their own. Millipedes are adorable.

THe last house I lived in, every summer, would be engulfed by a plague of...

    LADYBUGS

THOUSANDS of them, everywhere. You should have seen it.

We had this really big window in the living room, and at least 50% of it was blotted out by them. I'm not kidding.

And apparently, they weren't actually ladybugs, but some invasive species from India that looks like them.

Somehow though, this rather... suffocating plague wasn't nearly as unsettling as the yearly...

    ...tent worms.

Creepy en masse, cute individually. Like a baby pile.
