No one ever debates with me.
It's very annoying being treated like a toddler and just having everyone ignore any statement I make without even refuting it.

If you want to be taken seriously, you should avoid making melodramatic and fallacious arguments. Then crying foul when people call you out on it.
HEARSEE THE WORD FALLACY? (well, technically no, but...)(by the way guys does anyone know if ignore...anythings work here.)
"Look, people can't respond to threads about your messed-up borderline abusive family life, because they're too busy dealing with important issues like Vorpy counting to nineteen."
It's because we can actually have an effect on Vorpy counting to 19.
While I can admit you have gotten better about this, I'm not going to hold my breath. Time is all that is necessary.

I would be willing to debate you if you want (on a specific topic in some other thread), but unfortunately I am not very skilled at debating so you might not find it that enjoyable.
I understand that it can be pretty difficult to get other people to actually pay attention to what someone says, especially if people already read their preconceived ideas of who that person is into his or her posts. Ultimately, I think that kind of thing can really be out of one's control. Still, I believe that one can sometimes change people's minds if one tries hard enough.
I am not totally sure about this, but maybe a good idea would be to try to gather a good deal of expertise on a specific issue so you can present a stronger and more in-depth argument about it. I think that might help attract some more serious attention to that argument. Sorry, I am not quite sure if you have already done that. I suppose that if you have, my "advice" might be pretty useless.
