Anger management issues

Long story incoming. Brace yourselves:

So, today in Biology (second-to-last class of the day), I stuck my pencil into the back of the freshman sitting behind me, hard. I was already stressed that day from a career thing we had done and this kid's been intentionally annoying to me for a good long while now, but it came to a head here when, during a note-taking game, he started tapping me in the back and laughing when I turned around. He said afterwards that he had been trying to ask me a question, but I'll be damned if I heard him say anything during the poking. I don't think I seriously hurt him, but apparently the pencil left a mark. I used the eraser end of the pencil, not the pointy end.

Anyway, his friend sitting next to him, also a freshmen, threatened that if I touched him, he'd punch me. So naturally, I started lightly touching his arm while going "Touch! Touch!" in a goofy voice. He was seriously getting pissed off at me for this, and probably would've punched me if he could've, but the Biology teacher (a substitute), broke it up and we got on with the game almost like nothing happened.

But then, after school had ended and I had finished the class after Biology, a bunch of people I know came up to me and started congratulating me, shaking my hand and praising me for what I had done. Apparently, this kid's a douche to everyone (not surprised), and in the words of one of these people, "Nobody ever does something about it, and you did something about it!".

Now I'm worried about what kind of repercussions I could face from this. I know I overreacted, I know this kind of thing is generally frowned upon (/understatement), but here's something else to consider: after our Biology sub broke the impending fight up, he literally said "wait till after", and didn't even ask us to stay after class or anything like that, so I doubt he filed a complaint to the office or anything. Also, I didn't get called to the office during the class that came after that, so maybe nothing will come from this at all.

So, what do you guys think? Justified? Not?

Comments

  • in the realm of pointless high school jack assery, probably yes
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
Ah DonZabu, launching a secret attack against me again?

    Also, not Justified.
  • ^ Secret attack?
  • someone explain?
  • No. That's why it's secret.
  • It's so secret that even I, the alleged mastermind behind the secret attack, don't know anything about it.
  • And now my mother's proposed the possibility of this kid bringing a gun to school in order to get revenge on me. As if I wasn't freaked out enough as is.
  • Someone would have to be pretty psycho to do that over an eraser stabbing.
  • They're somethin' else.
    FUCK HIM UP.
  • If you'd used the pointy end, I'd say his dad would be justified in having you charged with assault, but as it is...

On the gun thing, I agree with snowbull, I think he's a troll, not a psycho.  He enjoys puhing people's buttons because it gives him power to influence others.

But you should probably expect more threats by his friends and maybe a fist thrown your way.  I also imagine you'll probably be watched more closely by school officials and the local bullies if they start hearing rumors that you fought back.
