Can't play CoD4

edited 2011-04-10 03:53:37 in General
CRIMINAL SCUM!
When I tried to reinstall CoD4 and move over my multiplayer game data it corrupted the file.

PIECE OF SHIT COMPUTEEEEEEEER!!!!

I accidentally deleted the backup because I thought I had extras.

I didn't.

FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

There's literally a month of play time logged on that account and I STILL hadn't unlocked all the skins. And now it wants me to start over?

Fuck that shit. When I find a game data hack maybe I'll play this game again.

I find it strange that people accuse RPGs of being grindfests, and ignore the fact that FPSes are just as bad about it.
  • Might be because RPGs force players to do the same stuff over and over again to level. FPSs just require that you play a lot.

Hell, aside from unlocking all the weapons (which is really, really easy in COD4) everything else is just cosmetics.

But you never had any to begin with.

    And this is different... how?
  • Its something that you'd be doing anyway, instead of repeatedly killing the same bunch of rats over and over.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
RPGs, do a bunch of shit to obtain numbers, that allow you to go to a different area of the game.
    * If you do NOT collect enough numbers, it becomes impossible or too difficult to continue.
FPSes, pick up a gun, kill a bunch of shit, that allows you to go to a different area of the game.
    * If you do not meld into the gameplay, you die too much.

  • The difference is, RPG's offer a small amount of boring situations due to their rigid rules. FPSs, on the other hand, offer a huge range of situations that you must constantly adapt to.
