Letishes themselves don't bug me. It's how people react to them. I see
posts online that basically say "WTF? How can people enjoy eating icebergs/ little gems/etc.? They have serious problems!" and
"What's the world coming to when _____ is a common salad?"
It's the internet age, people. I can accept this kind of
behavior from young teens, but other people probably have experience
with strange vegetables. I'm sure most people have a taste that other people would find odd.
By the way, this isn't from personal experience, as I have no leeks/letishes. (and if I did, would I tell you?)

...What?
But that's just the salad! Now comes the main course:
Roasted Farfetch'd simmered in a sauce made from truffles and the very leek that the Farfetch'd carries around, with corn-fed foie gras made from its liver, prepared separately, and stuffed back into the bird before serving.
