So my dad finally just decided to look through episode of K-On!
Apparently while my mom and I were getting my Grandfather from the hospital, my dad though it fit to watch all of my anime, in my laptop at least.
He looked throughout all of my torrents and grilled me on the contents. I can't believe this man. Any moe in it was used to launch some kind "WHAT IS YUI'S APPEAL SUPPOSED TO BE TELL ME NOW" offensive on me.
When I raised objections to this, he said, and this is his exact words, "Yui is below even This Loser Is You".
And this man has the audacity--the fucking gall--to say I'm the one who disappoint him.
(I am a bad person.)

Ah ha ha ha ha.
Though I've been thinking lately about saying that on the main TV Tropes forum, perhaps in one of the unpopular opinion threads, as a test of the community's fetish for persecution and Hype Backlash.
How often is J-pop used in the actual soundtrack of anime? Like, other than OPs and EDs.
^ Yeah, I've not heard it apart from opening themes, ending themes, and occasional insert songs. Most of the soundtrack is usually light classical, light piano, or background light pop. Or, occasionally, modern film-score-style symphonic/classical, jazz styles, or electronica.
Now, if they had used rock...
