Having No Suspension of Disbelief At All
I don't understand mecha anime fans who don't have SoD. They don't make any fucking sense.
Aside from that, I am not sure how you can enjoy fiction at all if you are constantly reminding yourself that it isn't real.

And yeah, this is annoying. Especially because for some reason, people like this like to watch/play/etc. fantasy or sci-fi or comedy or [any other genre that deliberately doesn't imitate reality exactly] shows/games/etc. and somehow expect everything to be exactly like real life.
Somehow this seems even worse among the Oblivion modding community (and possibly other similar communities) where people have the same complete inability to enjoy something if it's not exactly like real life (plus the fact that for arcane reasons that I can't begin to guess at, they're playing a fantasy RPG, with wizards and goblins and stuff...), but apparently a lot of these people have never actually been outside or interacted with a real person even once in their life because their ideas of "realistic" are actually further from reality than what was already in the game.
Dirt can fucking float. I don't think Obsidian being a weak glass-like material in real life or being able to hold 64 cubic meters of stone in one hand being impossible matters at all in minecraft.
I know the rage from Oblivion (even Fallout) fans when they complain about the stupidest shit not being realistic enough, even the ones that say the world is not diverse enough because there are no deserts.
