THE HOMEWORK NEVER ENDS.

Seriously. I'm slogging through a ton of homework right now, and even though I'm making progress, the more I work, the more I seem to have. The more I get done, the more it feels like I'll never finish it.

This is just demotivating. I already have trouble focusing.

Oh well, back to homework now.

  • How much work is a ton?

And you'd best get used to it unless you want to be flipping burgers in Somalia forever.
  • I know I need to get used to it. It's more the "the more I do, the more I seem to have" feeling that bugs me.

I have to make up this english project.
  • Well, yeah. Your reward for working hard is generally more work later.

Is it a fun English project? Is it due tomorrow?

Just do it, step of the internet (or if you need it, IJBM/TV Tropes/whatever) and promise yourself not to get back in for the whole day. That's what I'm about to do.
  • No, it's not fun. I've done about 30% of it, but it's an alternative one given to me because I missed another project when I was expelled from school.

And it may or may not be a presentation. I hate presentations. Though, given the current classroom climate right now, I don't think she'll make me present.

God fucking dammit. There's no way I will finish this in time. Shit. And my dad is making me do this, even though just dropping it would be way less stressful for me (I can make up the loss in grades).
  • GET OFF OF THE FUCKING INTERNET AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK YOU EASILY DISTRACTED LITTLE GRAAAHHHWWRRR
  • I am doing it, Bob.

Back to homework now. I'll be at a place with no internet for the next 8 hours anyway.
  • Good!

-starts clapping, realizes no one can hear her other than herself, stops-
  • SO in the end, I never really finished the project. God dammit.
  • You being on here isn't going to make it get more done.

    -_-

Do I have to whip out the cattle prod, Chagen?

But seriously, it won't kill you to take a break from IJBM for a little while.
  • >How much work is a ton?

Well, if a piece of paper is .16th of an ounce, and a ton is 32,000 ounces, then a ton of homework would be 5,120 pieces of paper. I think.

    ^^ More like 200,000.
  • So I tried completing the project but family matter made it impossible. So I can't turn it in. Now I can wait for my dad to yell, boy, that's something I'm real fucking excited for.
  • No rainbow star
^^^ If a piece of paper is .16th of an ounce and a ton is 32,000 ounces...

    Then how does 32,000 / <1 ounce = 5,120 pieces of paper?
