JPEG compression on avatar images
This is a complaint I would have had about the TV Tropes fora had they not fixed this issue, but I'm having it about these.
When I upload an image for an avatar, it automatically converts it into .jpg format. This wrecks the image quality and produces the ugliest compression artifacts ever. It's hard to tell on the pages themselves but click my profile and you can see it.
