I virtually never use Twitter, but what do you speculate would be the minimum time investment?
I've never in my 6 years of using it wanted the Verified badge. Just on Twitter to enjoy the company of friends and post things that wouldn't be suited for one blog post each.
What is this verified badge/checkmark thing?
Something Twitter gives to famous people to prove that their Twitter account is really them. The actual process for determining who gets them is shrouded in mystery.
