Of course it's a thing. Hot sauce on meat lovers' pizza is delicious.
Hot sauce on 90% of things is delicious.
When you reach the point where you put it on everything, you stop caring about how far off the deep end you went. It's that good.
I use hot sauce to enhance flavor, not override it. That said I prefer tasteful amounts of hot, not XXXXXX SUPER EXTREME HOLYSHITYOURDIGESTIVESYSTEMWILLCORRODE 100% PURE CAPSAICIN spicy like a lot of my friends seem to prefer.
