Fucking Ipod, man.

I have possessed an Ipod Touch for over three months at this time of writing.

I almost never use it for listening to music.

My PSP is my mp3 player. Because the Ipod's organization system sucks.

First of all, when I tried moving about 200 songs onto my Itouch, everything was horribly messed up due to it's organization system. To put music on my PSP, all I had to do was connect it to my computer, which treated it like a hard drive. Then I could just put the files into the "MUSIC" folder nice and easily. I could make subfolders for it too (such as, my Fall Out Boy folder is further subdivided into the three albums by them I have). This is a way less hassle-filled way than Itunes. Seriously. Fuck Itunes.

This meant that I never really tagged my music much--all I needed was the name and artist. Quite often, I didn't even have the artist labeled, I just went by name. I also put music that didn't really need to go into a folder at the end. My PSP's music folder looks like this:

"Blazblue"/"Broadcast To The World"/"Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell" (Yes, I downloaded all three remixes and decided they needed their own folder. I love the song. Sue me)/"Dragonforce" (I never listen to this, I could probably just get rid of it completely"/"Fall Out Boy"/"Hot Wheels World Race OST"/"Mad World OST"/"Mario Kart Wii OST"/"Maroon 5" (Yes, I like one of their albums. Yes, I know I have to turn in my man card)/"MvC3 OST"/"My Chemical Romance"/"Son Of Dork" (British band, Guilty Pleasure, don't ask)/"Sonic The Hedgehog OSTs"/"Soul Calibur"/"Sugar Ray"/"The Lonely Island"/"Touhou"

And a bunch of music after that that sorta just thrown in there (I only give stuff folders if it's a lot of songs from one general source) And I really need to get more music...

(Damn that looks ugly. I was gonna have it in a top-to-down list, but there is way too much space between each one for it to look any good)

...Anyway, I could simply place things in and organize it the way I liked and wanted it.

Apple has other plans, though. My lack of tagging has made it mess everything up (it put my Mad World OST into seven different albums for god knows what reason). And the artists on the ones that are tagged are also screwing everything up--such as in my Sonic The Hedghog OSTs, a song by Tomoya Ohtani, a song by Mariko Nanba, and a song by Ohtani and Nanba will be listed seperately...even though both are from the Sonic 06 OST.

Now, I could go and retag everything. Except I'm lazy as shit. And I can't take a bunch of songs and tag them all at the same time (Such as in my Sonic Colors OST--all of the songs are by Jun Sunoe, but I don't think I can just highlight them all and tag them with that at the same time...at least, I'm pretty sure I can't).

So yeah. And even if I did tag them all, I like my folder-based style of organization much better. Though that could probably be achieved with playlists.

But in any case, I have an Ipod that I don't use for music. I use it for only internet and apps and hiding my diaper fetish porn. When one it's purposes is to play music. Hell, I had my parents buy me the thing so I could put all the Touhou OSTs on there! (My PSP doesn't have the space for all of them)

I jailbroke my Ipod, though, so maybe I can use a third party app or something. Or code my own app for it.
