They couldn't get anyone slightly more famous to host the Kid's Choice Awards? That was just lame.
Shut up, I have kid brothers.

I frequently forget Nickelodeon exists nowadays.
Which is a shame, considering how much of my childhood was wasted on it.
Even if you didn't, I wouldn't be surprised. You have a goddamned Goosebumps avatar.
According to wikipedia he was in a couple of episodes of The Replacements, but that'd only make sense if he was hosting the Disney Kids Choice Awards.
Though the Kids Choice Awards are just a kinda dumb way to show even less animated things than usual and give out nonsensical awards anyways. Not even sliming famous American people is worth it.
And where are all the VAs and Animators anyways? Nickelodeon is half cartoons last I checked.
I know, I still remember that weird promo with the four animated R&B singing girls. Luckily I discovered our version of Jetix when I was 8-ish.
I like Josh Duhamel.
Who?
The white "relatable" marine guy in the Transformers movies. He's actually kind of funny.
He also was in a couple of TV shows I liked.
I think the only reason I occasionally watch Nick these days is the newest TMNT show which is... not as good as the 2003 one.
I only know of this person's existence or his hosting of the Kids' Choice Awards because of ads on the side of Los Angeles buses.
^^ It is surprisingly not that bad though, I'll give it.
I USED to watch Nickelodeon for Victorious and iCarly, but those both ended, so I only watch Nick@Nite now, for a number of sitcom reruns.
^It's not bad, but it's got a lot basic flaws that I had thought the 2003 cartoon and more importantly the current comic reboot had ironed out. It seems to try to mix the grimdark of TMNT with the wacky with varying results, Mikey has gone from the emotional core of the group to an immature dolt, and April doesn't feel like a part of the team.
Their Splinter is great though. I'll give it that.
I like that the 4 actually do feel like teenage boys though. raph is probably my favorite.
I actually really like the show's interpretation of April but she's so underutilized. Most episodes don't even have her and that's honestly worse than having her kidnapped each episode like in the eighties cartoon to me. I really like their Karai too, though I understand why they don't want to overuse her.
I'm not sure Casey will make the transition to teenager as well as April, but I'm more than willing to be proven wrong.
