It's like they believe every customer is desperately confused but is too shy to ask questions of the employees.
I realize that the real problem is the policies that make the employees do this, but whatever.

Sometimes if I need something from Lowe's, I'll go and pick it up around 8 a.m. or so, shortly after they open.
The problem: Nobody else shops for home improvement items at 8 a.m. on a weekday, so the store is effectively a minefield of bored employees standing around waiting to "help" you.
