Yeah this is mostly a Pokemon complaint, but I'm sure it isn't the ONLY victim of this
So we finally get a Meloetta event! ...Gamestop only. So not only is it US only, it's not even accessable to the whole of the States!
These events are REALLY beginning to tick me off >.<

With thanks to all of you for sending this in, we now have details of the Meloetta event in North America. This event will be distributed via Gamestop stores across North America from March 4th to March 24th for all Generation V games. It's currently unknown if this event will match the Japanese one in level and moves but we'll bring details as soon as we can
If the game was on the 3DS, this would be a non-issue.

Eh, I'll keep quiet. If they eventually do a wifi event before X and Y, then I'll just grab that for her. If they don't, I'll use Pokecheck to clone the one traded to me and hand her the clone

As far as I know, yes, but if you want someone to hold onto one until you get a save file, I think that could work.
I was just wondering if I could, say, (1) claim a code and then give it to someone else, or (2) get it added to a new Pokémon game, and then sell the game+mon combo, without having to buy a (3?)DS.
