Why am I sometimes amused by things that other people find annoying?

For example, the game Metro 2033 is free to anyone with a Facebook account who's willing to "like" a certain page (and allow an app).  Doing so generates a product key that is Steam-compatible.

As a result, people started getting codes and posting them onto SteamGifts.com.  En masse.

At one point today, 90% of the first page of 50 giveaways was Metro 2033 giveaways.

This annoys most people using the site.  It annoys me slightly too, but I also find it amusing, and my feeling of amusement actually exceeds my feeling of annoyance.

Why?

  • I'm a damn twisted person

Stick out your tongue Glenn. Say "aaaahhh"

    I'll assume you did.

Any instances of blacking out or memory loss from the past few weeks?

    I'll assume there are.

Well I have bad news for you Glenn - the part of your brain that regulates your response to bullshit is being crushed against the you skull by an enlarged tumor from the part of your brain that regulates amusement and wonder. Soon you will  lack the ability to feel anything besides amusement. Followed by an aneurysm. The process is gradual and will take several years.
