From what I can gather, he started out as a British continental philosopher who believed we should destroy Capitalism by pushing it as far as it can go until it wrecks itself, then drama happened and he got disgusted with philosophy, so now he's a reactionary racist who writes travel expo guides in Shanghai and Continentals talk about him like he's a dead genius.
Everything about this is intensely weird to me.
