I am convinced Plato wrote this dialogue just to confuse future generations.

    @ Myrmidon: Is this about how people spent ages searching for Atlantis in spite of it clearly being intended as allegorical?
  • It's borderline materialist, the forms are barely mentioned, it goes into weird ontological areas Plato never seemed to bother with before, the main speaker isn't Socrates, and no one can agree if Plato actually believed the stuff he put into the dialogue.
