I just loaded three pages pages from a band's website at once, and...
...it turns out they had autoplay thingies (is the term "widgets"?) for all those pages, and each one of them played a different song, and so I was treated to a cacophony of sound...and I was wondering whether that was actually their style.
It took me a few minutes of mostly paying attention to other things to realize that something might be wrong.

Widget is an acceptable term for them and I despise them. Mainly because I tend not to expect them and I usually have some other music playing in the background.
Yeah, it's pretty obnoxious. I tend to see it more on concert venue sites than band ones though.
