America is okay. It fucked up a lot on the way though. All countries did. I don't understand most people's mentalities over obsessing over who's a commie and who's not, or who should be exiled from America for not loving the country as much as they do.

    I think the proper term for what you're referring to is "nationalism".

    With that out of the way I don't get hardcore nationalism either, never have. Maybe a country's just not the sort of thing I feel like I can "belong" to.

    Ah, I never knew there was a term for that.

    It's not only rednecks that do it as well. There are some people I know who seem reasonably sane that tend to let the country of America go to their heads.
