I meant to start a paper and finish some journals today
But instead, I started reading SA's thread on Soulcalibur V. For thirty-three pages.

i know that feel, bro
i know it
It's not even "today" (Friday) anymore, either.
I know that feel too
I know that feel, too.
Oh, yeah.
I know same chair
I was going to do two assignments today. I'm still not done with the first. I've just been too tired and spending too much time on making food.
Welp, the day's almost over and I'm only about 1/8 done with one of mine, so I definitely know that feeling.
It doesn't help that there are only three other freshmen in that class, so I don't have easy access to anyone to bounce ideas off of.
Maybe I'll try to get something from the other assignment done.
Would anyone be willing to look at my paper, once I'm done with this first draft of it, and tell me if I've fucked up any basic elements of a formal paper? My high school education sucked, so I'm not exactly up to snuff on this sort of formality, or used to being called out on not seemingly having a very strong thesis statement (which is apparently very bad).
Your university might have specific standards for its works, follow these if you can find them.
I don't really mean the specific formatting style, so much as universal basics for essay writing. Like, say, remembering to put a thesis in and then making it work. Either way, I would really appreciate it if someone here could look at it before I present it to a bunch of upperclassmen for workshopping.
The standards I meant include things such as that.
Oh.
EDIT: Almost three whole pages of content!
So, having gone back through and adjusted the paper, I'm really surprised at how well it turned out, given that I finished it at about four o'clock this morning.
