I'm sure if anyone had little to no experience with chicken at that young an age, and they were acting like that, they'd freak out too.

    I've had this happen but with goats and geese. He has all my sympathy.

    Geese are the Cujos of birds.  I'm not even fucking kidding.


    My mother used to be assaulted by one daily on the way to school, and it got to the point of broken bones before she smacked it with a 2x4.

    ^^ My mom's family rescued a goose when she was in high school. It tried to attack anyone and everyone who went on the property. She literally had nightmares about the thing.
