I thought Call Me Maybe was just another indie as fuck song.
I thought as much because the only lyrics people post sound like the awkward kind of syntax you'd hear in an indie alt song. Recently at some party, I thought the actual song was just a remix of the song I imagined would sound like. Turns out, it's a pop song.
This isn't the first time this has happened to me. I just don't listen to radio anymore. Ever. I still don't know what Crank Dat by Souljaboy sounds like. I've never heard Baby by Justin Beiber either, and maybe I'm better off for it.

Crank Dat played I think five times the Homecoming after it came out. My friends and I counted.
At least Call Me Maybe is pretty catchy. And if you heard Baby it'd get stuck in your head.
