Egoraptor's "Pokeawesome" during video sharing time

I love Egoraptor. I mean, it's amazing, watching his videos from humble beginnings in Metal Gear Awesome up to his current stuff, which is damn well animated.

But...

I've been shown this video WAAAAAAAAAAY too many times during "share youtube videos" time with friends. To the point there it just becomes suspect. I'm not trying to call this "babby's first nerd humor vid". Far from it. And I'm not trying to discredit the video either. this video has pretty much all the Egoraptor mainstays: Gratuitous cursing, exaggerated WHOA HA, HUHEY, MAHOYVIN voice acting, and demonstrating the corruptibility of the video game universe featured. All of that IS funny.

But this video... the writing's just lazy. I mean, at least compared to this:



The only thing that makes the Pokemon vid even remotely funny is the swearing and outbursts and what not. I mean, if you're 12.

Awesome Center at least makes fun of Trauma Center's video game logic, and unlike say, Metal Gear Awesome, it only has one curse word total. An accomplishment, considering Egoraptor's usual output.

I'm not saying don't show us the video. Far from that. I'm just saying: When it comes time for youtube show and tell... Dude (meaning, some of the people in our circle), you've hung out with us for a while now. You've heard the stuff we talk about, one of them being egoraptor. You've known us long enough to know what our tastes are and what our humor is like. Show us the video, but not with the intention of delightfully surprising us. Don't pat yourself in the back for it. That's just not how it works.

I could tell because I, too, have seen people on Facebook linking to the Pokemon one way too many times.
