If you have an email ending in @hotmail.com, @live.com or @outlook.com (or any other Microsoft-related domain), please consider changing it to another email provider; Microsoft decided to instantly block the server's IP, so emails can't be sent to these addresses.
If you use an @yahoo.com email or any related Yahoo services, they have blocked us also due to "user complaints"

What happened to the idea of putting ".com" or whatever after stuff?
I mean, how the fuck would I be expected to properly pronounce tvtrop.es or goog.le?
Comments
goo gul
So you're seriously telling me to ignore the fact that there's a period between "goog" and "le" and thus not pronounce it "goog dot luh"?
no u
are these real sites.
No, thankfully, they're not. Though some such sites have been snatched up by domain parking, such as livejourn.al and fuck.me.
Oh, here we go. Wikipedia has more info on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name_hack
It seems that such sites as goo.gl, fold.it, and del.icio.us exist. (I should have thought of that last one.) As do blo.gs and various things using .cx, .cz, and .kz to attempt to spell out "sex". (Apparently the original goatse.cx got takedown'd.)
^Is that how you're supposed to pronounce goatse.cx? For some reason, that makes much more sense.
Wait, why does a (Starwars TOR?) forum have the domain Cryscon.com? I mean, how does that url make sense for them?
Fun fact: I once misread "icio" and pronounced "del.icio.us" as "del dot ico dot yuu ess".
And now that I've noticed its spelling, I still pronounce it "del dot eye see eye oh dot yuu ess".
But I'm bumping this thread because I was just arguing with someone on IRC about domain name hacks.
I pronounce it as "del-icio-us", as if I was sounding out the word for a small child.
Also, itjustbugs.me should be a thing. Just sayin'.
Montenegro got lots of money off the .me domain.
^^ No, the "me" is an integral part of the name and shouldn't be set off from the rest of the phrase.
Italy just bugs Montenegro?
Tuvalu also made a tidy sum selling .tv domains.
The Cook Islands could sell a lot of domains to porn companies if they didn't have a rule against NSFW domain name registrations in the territory.
