You see so many of these, you start to forget that motivational posters even exist, you know?

Demotivational pictures are more fun.
But I'm a pessimist, so what do I know?
Demotivators, pre-decay were pretty funny. All these other dumbass pictures are just pictures with a black border and captions.
Ragecomics and advice animals have quickly succeeded demotivationals in terms of creative sterility, but what makes it so amazing is that they take even less effort to make.
I've forgotten actual demotivators existed, actually. Most people seem to forget the meaning of the term.
Demotivators / fake motivators actually do require a fair bit of creativity to do well. Because that caption demands you write something interesting and original that's relevant to the image, presents your point, but doesn't go overboard with either.
