Wait, who?

I think we need to start rating politicians on the distinctiveness of their names.

Comments

  • On the one hand, there was John Smith, leader of the British Labour Party from 1992-4. On the other, Lawrence Eagleburger, Clinton's Secretary of Defence (?) - not a name you'd forget.

Well, there were quite a few politicians named John Smith, so this guy isn't quite there at the "least distinct" rating... I guess. Oooh, what about people named Muhammad? That's damn common. Although, it tends to be followed by something considerably less common.

As for "less forgettable", what about Adolf Lu Hitler Marak? From India, of all places.

    Eagleburger

That is the most American name I've ever heard in my life.
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

That is the most American delicious name I've ever heard in my life.

    FTFY.

  • Back in Black

Abraham Lincoln's first Vice President, Hannibal Hamlin, automatically wins for most awesome politician name.

  • "you duck spawn, refined creature, you try to be cynical, yokel, but all that comes out of it is that you're a dunce!!!!! you duck plug!"

Karl Theodor Maria Nikolaus Johann Jacob Philipp Franz Joseph Sylvester Freiherr von und zu Guttenberg, German former Minister of Defence. A baron. Perhaps incidentally, he's married to Stephanie Gräfin von Bismarck-Schönhausen. A countess.

  • ^ I'm not sure if that's memorable or unmemorable...

Also, eagles and burgers are things you'd associate with America, but burgers made of eagles... aren't.

People would probably hate you if you tried to sell eagle burgers.

  • We have reviewed your resume' and we find you delicious.

I'd try one, for what it's worth.

  • Back in Black

I've heard eagle actually tastes really bad...

Yeah, it's the herbivore predators that tend to be the tasty ones.

     carnivore predators

So pandas taste nice, I guess, they're herbivore carnivora.

  • I imagine that eagle burgers are to the USA as panda dumplings are to China.

  • But you never had any to begin with.

Swordfish would like to disagree with you.

    Aren't they piscivore?

  • But you never had any to begin with.

    Piscivores are carnivorous. :|
