It looks like the server randomly went forward in time four hours for a while, then came back, and new posts are being inserted here until they catch up with the stamp times on the later ones.

One thing I did suggest was that they could expand the system already in place to flag YMMV tropes with the orange dot into a "Adult Trope Flag". Instead of a orange dot, use CSS to hide the entire trope entry.
Then just do the "e-hentai" solution -- make a second tropes domain that DOES show these tropes, and one that doesn't. You could hammer something out in a long evening and be done with it.
FE doesn't seem receptive to that sort of solution, or even allowing alternate opinions to be discussed, so...

Just wanted to give a reminder warning: This thread may be locked, or even zapped, and any users involved in drama banned, if drama happens in this thread.
(Of course, that's the case anywhere else, but this thread seems more likely than usual to produce drama, especially inter-site drama.)

Yes, this is the result of someone specifically attacking TVTropes through Google Adsense. I know this because a similar attack was pulled off on the Manga sites in 2010 -- faux outrage sent to advertisers, which scared Google, turns out the site is completely beholden to Google AdSense for funding, yadda yadda. OneManga was destroyed by it, most other sites had to purge themselves of anything not acceptable, etc etc.
The hilarious thing with that was that the trolls were demanding they remove all Lolicon and Shotacon content, but ALSO all Gay and Lesbian content -- so if you see the Queer as Tropes index go poof soon, well, you'll know why. (Although I would point out that the purge list is currently almost exclusively Japanese stuff, so this might be less "anti-porn" and more "anti-Japanese media"...)
I'm currently banned from TVTropes over all this, but that's a much longer post involving Fast Eddie abusing his admin powers. I'll talk more about that in a bit (after I prune it down a bit) but I wanted to confirm that yes, this is an attack on TVTropes, I know this because I've seen it done repeatedly over the past few years.
Each time the manga "Kodomo No Jikan" is involved, by the way -- it's someone from that manga's Hatedom attacking sites that have anything to do with it. You can see one of the guys who pulled off the OneManga attack brag about it and outline how he did it here:

(Not defending Kodomo no Jikan, btw. I understand that it's a bit much and I don't read it. But my "unacceptable opinion" that got me banned from TVTropes is that hey, we can talk about obscene or socially unacceptable works without being obscene or socially unacceptable ourselves. Yes, that's the exact stance that Fast Eddie is rebutting in his content change thread, more on that in a bit...)
Of course, the "pedo purge" was all a bunch of single issue wonks piling on in the forums when they felt they had a chance to get their pet issue advanced, and the "porn purge" is Fast Eddie having a rather public nervous breakdown over all it... but I'll get into that later when I have time to trim down my "I was banned" story.

Alas, no, I don't have direct proof. It's the exact same scenario involving the exact same work, though, so... I like to think it's not a huge stretch of the imagination.

Well, it certainly explains why some of those sites I used to visit went dead.

The paedos on TVT are having duck fits and trying to find anything that may have a scene with either child sex like Brave New World or sexualises kids like FFX or Little Miss Sunshine and using the existence of these to say that stuff like KnJ should be allowed

If it is a concise effort/pattern, it's bound to come from somewhere. And since it's relatively effortless trolling, high chance that sort of stuff is discussed in the open. I mean, inbound links from troll sites would probably net some results.
